Tinmouth looking forward to landmark debut

Jenny Tinmouth is pleased to be making her British Superbike debut on home soil at Oulton Park having been forced to miss the opener at Brands Hatch.
Jenny Tinmouth says she cannot wait to get out on track for what will be a historic British Superbike Championship debut at Oulton Park.

Though the landmark moment is occurring a week later than planned following problems in getting parts for her bike, when Tinmouth lines up on the grid aboard the Splitlath Aprilia, she will become the first female rider to race at BSB level.

Despite missing out on the opening round at Brands Hatch, Tinmouth is happy to be making her first appearance at her home circuit instead.

“I am very excited, I just can't wait to get out there and race,” she said. “In many ways it is great that I am making my debut at my local track because I know it well and I've got lots of my family and friends coming up for the event.

“I know the team have been working particularly hard this week to get the bike ready and I'm looking forward to seeing what we can do. Most of all, I want to have fun and enjoy my first ride in the British Superbike Championship.”

Hope Jenny can get a bike that can run for longer than 1 lap, than maybe we can see what she can do.Looks like they need a better Engine Builder & someone who knows how to put a bike together.
