John Hopkins says he will be giving Croft 'respect' when he makes his debut at the circuit this weekend, the new British Superbike race winner eyeing more podiums.
Having established himself as a firm title contender with a run to first and second at Oulton Park, Hopkins is looking to produce a similarly polished performance aboard the Samsung Crescent Suzuki at Croft.
However, having visited the circuit during pre-season testing, Hopkins admits he will need to spend time adjusting to the twisty layout.
"Croft will be more of the same for me – more searching for the race lines, more learning about how BSB works - and hopefully more podiums.
"We came here during pre-season testing so I know something of the track. And I know to respect it. There are some tricky sections – really bumpy – so I'll not go too fast too soon. It's going to be a weekend of detailed study."
