MSS Kawasaki get new engine parts for Croft

"It would be very easy to think we've done our work and coast a little"
Despite being a surprise second in the early BSB standings, Stuart Easton and MSS Colchester Kawasaki won't be taking a conservative approach to this weekend's third round at Croft.

“Obviously it's fantastic to have such a strong start to the year but that does make you a bit of a target,” said team manager Nick Morgan. “It would be very easy to think we've done our work and coast a little.

“The reality is we have developed new engine parts for this race which should fire us out of the slower corners better and have revised gearbox ratios specifically for this track.

“The lads have all been working as hard as ever on their fitness and the team is raring to go.”

Easton is just eleven points behind title leader Shane Byrne (HM Plant Honda) after solid points in all four races, including two podiums at Oulton Park.

The Scot also has a strong record at Croft, which he is aiming to build on this weekend.

“Croft is another circuit I like and have had four podiums and a win over the last two years,” he said. “I hope to continue our form and my podium run at Croft, though I'm sure it will be tougher than ever.”
