Loris Baz claimed the fastest time in third free practice at Knockhill as inclement weather conditions to make its presence felt around the Scottish venue.
Each of the practice sessions leading up to this afternoon's qualifying have been marred by steady rain, with the top lap times once again hovering around the 53secs mark.
Indeed, the majority of the quickest times in FP3 came in the early stages of the session, with Baz setting the pace aboard the Motorpoint Yamaha, ahead of MSS Colchester Kawasaki rider Alex Lowes.
Friday pace setter Tommy Hill was third fastest, ahead of Swan Yamaha team-mate Michael Laverty, while Chris Walker and Gary Mason made it three Kawasakis inside the top six.
Championship leader Shane Byrne was seventh fastest, while Josh Brookes maintained eighth, despite falling from the Relentless Suzuki early on in the session. Glen Richards resumed his status as the fastest EVO rider in ninth, while Dan Linfoot completed the top ten.
Elsewhere, Ryuichi Kiyonari and John Hopkins kept low profiles during the session, ending up 18th and 24th.
