PR Racing says it has high hopes for the 2012 MCE British Superbike Championship and has stated its desire to get Simon Andrews back on the bike.

Andrews began the year riding the EVO-specification Kawasaki ZX-10R, but a spectacular accident at Snetterton left him with multiple injuries and sidelined him for the remainder of the season.

With PR Kawasaki ending the year with Hudson Kennaugh and then Steve Heneghan on the bike, team manager Julian Mosquera is hopeful that Andrews will be back on the bike in time for the 2012 season.

"The future for PR Racing looks very promising and we are all excited about the 2012 season. We are delighted to confirm Simon is making an excellent recovery and is hoping to get back on his PR Kawasaki early next year, in preparation for 2012. The team are in talks with other riders to finalise our two rider line-up for next season, which we hope to announce very soon."

BSB will cap its grid for 2012 at 16 two-bike teams, though it will give priority to those currently competing in the series.
