As far as British Superbike Championships go, the 2011 edition of the premier domestic motorcycle series can rightfully be described as epic, even before you take into account that final lap.

The season-long tussle between Tommy Hill, John Hopkins and Shane Byrne, with supporting turns from Michael Laverty and Josh Brookes, helped to create an exciting conclusion to the 2011 season before Hill emerged victorious.

However, while the winners' trophy will say Hill, we want to know who your winner for 2011 was. Indeed, as deserving as Hill was as champion, with his seven race wins, Hopkins's achievement in his maiden BSB campaign was nothing short of extraordinary, while many have noted that Byrne, with his greater number of points scored over a season, warrants more than his eventual third place.

Still, if choosing one rider is too difficult for you, then we have made things a bit simpler by giving you the chance to rate the 20 riders we feel stood out most in 2011.

Rate each one out of ten and we'll provide your definitive countdown in the coming weeks based on the average scores...
