A new two-rider team will be entering the British Supersport Championship in 2012.
MotoDex Performance First Yamaha is a British-owned company based in German. Managing Director Tony Dexter has sponsored Gearlink Kawasaki in recent seasons.
MotoDex fielded AMA Pro Daytona Sportbike star Melissa Paris at the final round of this year's BSS championship, at Brands Hatch, with a view to contesting the full season in 2012.
Those plans are now at an advanced stage and the team, which will use Yamaha R6 motorcycles, is in negotiation with a number of riders.
"We are delighted that we will be contesting the 2012 British Supersport Championship as it really is one of the best series in the world," said team owner Tony Dexter. "The racing this year has been incredible and we want to be a part of it for our team and sponsors.
"It's our aim to be challenging for the title so we are talking with potential riders, many of whom have World Championship experience, and we hope to be in a position to announce further details soon."
