WFR eyeing title with young line-up

Westmoreland, meanwhile, stays on with WFR having joined it in the final stages of 2011 to develop its 2012-specification machine.

"It is great for me to know I am going to be working with team WFR Honda next season. I obviously finished last season with them and I know that we will have a good direction for 2012. I am made up about joining them for the full season as they put a lot of effort into their racing and for sure they have a great package.

"I rode a version of the 2012 specification bike at Donington Park and even between then and the end of the season there were big improvements. Then from the end of the season to the end of the recent test we had in Spain we saw even more changes and steps forward and we know what else we need to do before we start racing again next year.

very strong line up indeed have to say i think gowla could be the dark horse next year not that it would be suprising after seeing his 2nd half of the season was mixing it up with the big boys, now level playing field in terms of power! who knows what he can do alex is very quick and seemed settled on this bike i think he could also be right up there to, and you def cant rule out westy all credit to wfr for fielding all british young talent

Sick cylinder . the WFR bikes were rather bare in 2011 but there are certain people in the paddock that dont rely on sponsorship, they use their own money.I dont know the situation at WFR but they appear to be well funded as they have all the right people in the garage and the bikes are always top draw.i know of other people in BSB that dont require sponsorship which is a very nice position to be in ,especially in the present economic climate.
