Moto Rapido shows off 2012 livery

Moto Rapido's new Ducati 1199 Panigale colour scheme will adopt a Ducati-red and Saudi Arabian-green inspired livery.
Moto Rapido has unveiled the bike it will campaign in the 2012 MCE British Superbike Championship with riders Scott Smart and Abdulaziz Binladin.

The British-based team, which last year ran a single Ducati for Smart in the EVO class, will become championship class contenders in 2012 having expanded to two entries of the brand-new 1199 Panigale.

Along with Jentin Doodson, Moto Rapido will be giving the much anticipated Panigale its Superbike racing debut in 2012, while it will also be receiving assistance from the Ducati factory in Italy.

The attractive new livery showcases a typical Ducati red, together with green to represent Moto Rapido's Saudi Arabian backing from the Saudi Falcons and rider Binladin.

Jentin Doodson is expected to adopt yellow and black colours for its season with the Ducati 1199 Panigale.

There are some more pictures on the official BSB site showing the bike from various angles, but unpainted. It seems odd seeing a Ducati with a Buell style exhaust rather than undersaet pipes. I can see the Louth Looneys point (made on a previous thread) - fitting a regulation bellypan oil catch tank may be a challenge.
