WFR Honda's Alex Lowes, James Westmoreland and Graeme Gowland joined the MSS Bathams Kawasaki team at Alcarass in Spain on Monday to continue pre-season testing.

The British Superbike WFR Honda team has already completed a three-day test at Cartagena in Spain.

The trio spent their first sessions on track learning the new circuit before working through changes to the air bleed system and clutch settings.

Lowes told the official British Superbike website, "Today was good and this track is mega; it has some really good sections. We had a few small issues early in the day so we didn't get in as many laps as I would have liked but I am happy with the work we have done today."

Westmoreland spent time working on a general set-up for his Honda and familiarising himself with the Spanish circuit with a view to uppin the ante over the next few days.

"It wasn't a bad day for us; the track was cold this morning so we really just learnt the track as it is new to all of us in the first sessions," he said. "I just worked on the general set up of the WFR Honda today and I think we can make some really good progress over the next few days."

Gowland added: "On to another track and it has been a good day. I have been learning the new circuit today as we haven't been here before. We have made some progress by testing some different clutch settings and hopefully tomorrow we can pick up where we left off."
