No half measures allowed at Snetterton, says Byrne

Shane Byrne and Stuart Easton carry their good form on the Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki to Snetterton.
Shane Byrne says there are 'no half measures' to be enjoyed at Snetterton as he prepares for take his race-winning exploits to Norfolk for round four of the 2012 MCE British Superbike Championship.

Now just one of two riders to have scored in every race this season, Byrne added a victory to his and Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki's tally last time out at Oulton Park to keep him amidst the title hunt.

With round four at Snetterton now beckoning, Byrne is positive that he can replicate that form at the high-speed Norfolk venue.

“It felt great to leave Oulton Park with a win in the bag for the Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki team and also nice to have a couple of weeks to reflect on it and what we can do next. I am really looking forward to Snetterton and trying to replicate what we achieved at Oulton Park.

“At some circuits a few tenths can be made up and isn't a drama but at Snetterton there are no half measures and that for me is how I like to ride.”

On the other side of the garage, Stuart Easton is out to build on his popular return to the BSB podium, a result that lifted him into the crucial 'top six showdown' positions.

“I am feeling pretty pleased after the first three rounds. I didn't race at Snetterton last season and in the test I didn't do many laps so I don't have a huge amount of data, but that won't be an excuse as we have a good base setting with the Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki.

“My aim remains for the top six in the standings and there is still definitely more to come from both me and the bike. I am enjoying racing and as a rider that is when I perform at my best.”
