Hill turns attentions to Snetterton

Tommy Hill sets his sights on more podium credits at Snetterton having moved back to the top of the British Superbike Championship leaderboard.
Tommy Hill heads to the fourth round of the 2012 MCE British Superbike Championship at Snetterton keen to accumulate more podium credits having assumed the overall series lead last time out at Oulton Park.

Overcoming his disappointing start to the year, Hill returned to the winners' circle at Oulton Park on the way to moving atop the overall table, a position he is keen to consolidate at Snetterton this weekend.

Though the Norfolk venue was one of the few circuits he wasn't victorious at on the way to 2011 title glory, the Swan Yamaha man insists it remains one of his favourites.

“I am really looking forward to Snetterton and so is the whole of the Swan Yamaha team. We are three rounds in to the championship now and everyone is starting to up their game, but so are we and we are ready for the weekend.

“Everyone will be out riding hard at Snetterton and you can never count anyone out. We want to be on the podium because we know we need to consistently be scoring podium credits and staying in that top six for the Showdown.”

Hill is currently six points ahead of Josh Brookes in the overall standings and tops the podium credits tally with nine.
