Defending MCE British Superbike champion Tommy Hill heads for this weekend's fifth round at Knockhill just one-point from Josh Brookes and the title lead.

The Swan Yamaha rider will be aiming for nothing less than a repeat of his 2011 Scottish double on Sunday, as he seeks to banish memories of his second race Snetterton DNF due to an overheating engine.

"I am ready to go to Knockhill and hopefully we will get some sunshine as we always get good support from the local fans there. The round was a cracking one for me last year with a double win and hopefully we can have another good run," he said.

"After missing out in the second race at Snetterton it makes you even hungrier - I wanted to go straight there! We know what we need to do and we are going to come out fighting.

"We need to try and stay ahead of the game and keep pushing on and hopefully we can be back on the top step of the podium for Swan Yamaha."
