Former World Supersport Championship front runner Robbin Harms could be British Superbike bound after it was confirmed he is testing the Doodson Honda at Donington Park this week.

The Danish rider competed in the premier Supersport category between 2005 and 2011, peaking with a run to fifth overall in 2006, but has most recently been riding with Bimota in the Italian Moto2 Championship.

However, according to the official British Superbike website, Harms will get a taste of Superbike machinery at Donington Park by joining Tom Tunstall on the Honda CBR1000RR, raising speculation that he could be in line to replace the injured David Anthony, who broke his foot last time out at Brands Hatch.

If Harms, who once partnered BSB title contender Josh Brookes at Stiggy Honda when they raced in World Supersports, were to join British Superbikes he would make his debut at Cadwell Park later this month.
