Karl Harris says he is riding better than ever before in the MCE British Superbike Championship as he targets a front row start in qualifying this afternoon.
Harris, who made his British Superbike comeback at Brands Hatch last time out with the Quattro Plant Kawasaki team, was second quickest at Cadwell Park in FP3 behind Tommy Hill earlier today.
And the British championship veteran feels he can push even harder in qualifying as he attempts to roll back the years at the Bank Holiday meeting on the ZX-10.
“We have just gelled here this weekend and coming into it we knew we could be in a good position here but this morning's session was just mega,” said Harris.
“I am only looking at Karl Harris here this weekend; I don't look at any of the riders and just concentrate on myself.
“I think we can still make some improvements before the race and I can push harder when it comes to qualifying,” he told the official British Superbike website.
“I am confident that we should be able to have two good races here tomorrow and in myself I have been training hard and I think I am riding better now than I have before in the Superbike class.”
