Can you help?

A message from Racesafe marshal Ian Sinclair, who needs help with his fundraising plans
'Hi,

'My name is Ian Sinclair. I'm a marshal for Racesafe and on the 30th of September I will be leaving Silverstone - after the 2nd BSB race - and travelling 2800 miles, taking in 17 UK circuits before arriving at Brands Hatch on the 13th of October.

'This is to raise money for the CJ Riders Fund. The total money raised so far for this is in excess of £1,000.

'The reason for me contacting you is I was promised £500 by a team in the BSB paddock to cover the cost of fuel, but I have just been told they will no longer be able to do this. Would Crash.net help by advertising this, as I'm now running out of ideas.

'I would be very grateful if you could do this.

'Regards,

'Ian.'

If you can help Ian, please contact him by phone on 07539524863 or email ianwhufc@live.co.uk

Wadcutter: the CJ Riders Fund has nothing to do with the late, great Jonesy. It was started to raise funds for air ambulance and medical equipment in memoriam of Chris Jones. He was a massively promising young rider who died in a startline incident at Cadwell Park. They do an impressive amount of fundraising to help all the riders in the BSB and support classes, but I honestly don"t see why they"ve had to do any of this. It should be provided by the series' management and rights owners (who don't even give prize money to the riders after changing them a small fortune in entry fees every round) to ensure there are fewer tragic incidents lie the ones that have taken Chris, Craig, Ollie, Ashley, Ben, Guy and too many others from us far too early.
