Bournemouth Kawasaki gets Quattro Plant backing for BSB 2013.
Bournemouth Kawasaki has secured title sponsorship from Quattro Plant for the 2013 British Superbike season.

Kawasaki's official team will thus be competing under the 'Quattro Plant Kawasaki' banner and has high hopes for next year.

BSB legend Chris Walker and rising star Danny Buchan will form the team's BSB line-up, alongside 'two top road specialists, a BSB Superstock 1000 rider plus a young 600 Superstock rider'.

“The team looks really strong, and I believe with our sponsor's support we will have a great chance of pushing both Danny and Chris in to the showdown for 2013,” said team owner Peter Extance.

“As well as their undeniable talent, the unique mix of Chris's experience and Danny's enthusiasm will help to make a great partnership and I am sure they will work well together to help each other reach top positions in 2013 and push towards the all-important showdown spots.”

'The Quattro Group are delighted to offer their support to the Official Kawasaki British Superbike Team for 2013,” added John Murphy, managing director of the Quattro Group. “The team looks fantastic and we are looking forward to an exciting and successful season's racing, both in the BSB championship, and also the International Road Races,”

In other news, Pete Clifford is to join the team as crew chief for Buchan. Walker will continue with his crew chief Ray Stringer.
