Tristan Palmer will return to the National Superstock 1000 Championship in 2013 as the lead rider for the burgeoning Robinsons of Rochdale MV Agusta project.
Having confirmed it will return the iconic Italian marque to the BSB paddock with assistance from Grant Racing, Robinsons of Rochdale has announced Palmer will front its campaign following his season spent competing with GBmoto Honda in the British Superbike Championship.
"I'm very excited to be riding for MV Agusta, I'm sure the bike and team can be competitive from the start of the season and we aim to be running at the front,” Palmer told the BSB website. “The Robinsons of Rochdale team are committed to getting the MV Agusta back into British racing and I can't wait for the season to start."
Palmer, who finished fourth in the 2011 SSTK 1000 championship, will be joined by former 125GP rider Harry Stafford in a two-pronged attack on the 2013 trophy.
