James Ellison says he is to starting feel at one with the Milwaukee Yamaha as he prepares for his return to the MCE British Superbike Championship.

The 2009 BSB runner-up returns to the series after stints at World Supersport and MotoGP level, reuniting with the Shaun Muir Racing team he competed with in 2010 and Yamaha machinery for a tilt at the elusive BSB title.

Completing four days of weather-disrupted testing at Donington Park, Brands Hatch and Snetterton, Ellison was pleased with his progress after ending up third quickest at the latter venue.

"I feel happy that we have been able to get some more laps in this week and I feel really at home with the Milwaukee Yamaha team. It has been better today as after lunch we had done good laps on old tyres, whilst working on the suspension and then we decided to test with new rubber and the first lap we went fastest but then unfortunately there was a red flag.

"We called it a day later in the afternoon because we felt content with what we had achieved and now we can look ahead to the next time we are on track."
