Alex Lowes settled for a solid points finish in race two at Knockhill after the Samsung Honda rider lost ground in the MCE British Superbike Championship after a first race fall at Knockhill.

Lowes high-sided from his Fireblade at the hairpin at the Scottish circuit but the Lincolnshire rider regrouped to finish fourth in the second race.

"In the first race I was going good, but was struggling in the last sector compared to [Shane] Byrne and [Josh] Brookes and the crash was just unlucky," he said.
