Injured Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki rider Keith Farmer described his brace of top ten finishes in the sixth round of the MCE British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch as a 'huge bonus'.

The Northern Ireland rider was unsure whether or not he would be fit enough to compete at the weekend after suffering a blood clot in his leg following a practice spill at Snetterton, which caused him to miss both races.

However, Farmer gritted his teeth to finish eighth and tenth on the ZX-10R on Sunday to boost his hopes of making it into the Showdown top six this year.
