Karl Harris has vowed to come out with all guns blazing at the next round of the MCE British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park.
The Cheshire circuit has been a happy hunting ground for the PR Racing Kawasaki rider in the past and Harris is hopeful of challenging for two top ten results when the series resumes with the triple-header on August 11.
Harris, who achieved his best finishes of seventh place this season at Brands Hatch Indy and Thruxton, said: “The team's home round is always a big one for any rider and after a tough weekend at Brands Hatch where we struggled a bit with set up we want to turn that around at Oulton Park, especially as there are three races to do it in.
“We worked to try and improve my positioning on the bike to try and give my shoulder injury a bit of a rest, but to be honest it was fine and didn't cause me any trouble at all.
“At Oulton Park we need to be aiming for the top ten and then anything better than that would be a bonus,” he added.
“The circuit has always been one that traditionally I have had my best results at and hopefully history can repeat itself.
“We will have a lot of home support for the team so we are all really fired up to get some good results.”
