Josh Brookes is hopeful his maiden MCE British Superbike Championship victory of the season at Brands Hatch will pave the way for more wins this weekend at Oulton Park.

The Tyco Suzuki rider, who ended the second free practice session fourth fastest on the GSX-R1000, clinched victory in race one at Brands after series leader Shane 'Shakey' Byrne slid out while challenging for the lead.

Brookes, who is third in the points standings - one point behind Samsung Honda's Alex Lowes - is high on confidence for the triple-header weekend at the Cheshire circuit.
