Josh Brookes says he is keen to maintain his momentum less than a week on from a triumphant double British Superbike Championship victory at Thruxton as he heads for Oulton Park.

After a run of disappointing rounds, Brookes returned to form at Thruxton to show his title credentials once the Showdown gets underway, the Australian's battling two victories allowing him to consolidate his second place overall.

Heading to the Oulton Park triple-header, Brookes is hopeful the 'positive vibes' in the Milwaukee Yamaha team will spur him on to more success this weekend.
