Buildbase BMW rider Ryuichi Kiyonari could not have celebrated his new 2015 deal with the high-flying MCE British Superbike team in better style as he sealed a terrific double at Donington Park.

Kiyonari twice had the beating of fellow three-time BSB champion Shane 'Shakey' Byrne as he closed to within one point of Milwaukee Yamaha's Josh Brookes in the championship standings ahead of the Showdown finale, with Byrne a further 27 points clear at the summit.

The Japanese star confirmed on Sunday he would remain with Buildbase BMW next season in BSB and Kiyo says early confirmation of the deal will allow him to concentrate solely on the final three rounds of the series, starting at Assen on September 21.
