Tommy Bridewell has set his sights on finishing the 2014 MCE British Superbike Championship season as the highest-placed Milwaukee Yamaha rider having moved to within two points of his team-mate Josh Brookes.

Though neither Brookes nor Bridewell have enjoyed the best of fortunes in this year's Title Showdown, the Englishman's better run of finishes have seen him close on his illustrious team-mate with just the Brands Hatch triple header remaining.

Still poised to finish the season in a career-high position regardless of whether he beats Brookes or not, Bridewell is keen to bring his campaign to a promising close.
