Three-time British Superbike champion Ryuichi Kiyonari has finally enjoyed his first laps on the 2015 edition of the Buildbase BMW S1000RR, as he began pre-season testing at Brands Hatch.

Last year's BSB runner-up finally arrived in the UK from Japan on Thursday (12th March) after being delayed due to visa issues. The 32-year-old wasted no further time and was on the BMW bike on Friday morning at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit.

"Today is the first time on the 2015 bike this year and I am feeling very good with the new BMW," Kiyonari said. "I am a little bit tired as I only arrived yesterday afternoon from Japan, but I am very, very happy with the first ride today. I feel ready for the next test and the start of the season at Donington Park."
