Guy Martin is gearing up to race at the opening round of the British Supersport championship at Donington Park with Smiths Triumph as part of his preparation for the 2015 road racing campaign.

The lorry mechanic and TV star will step in for the injured Graeme Gowland at the Smiths Racing team in the Supersport 600 class as part of his preparation for the new Road Racing season.

The Lincolnshire rider has confirmed he'll contest round one at Donington Park over Easter weekend (4-6 April) but is yet to decide whether he'll return for round two at Brands Hatch two weeks later.
