Honda Racing's Dan Linfoot has been ruled out of this weekend's MCE British Superbike round at Brands Hatch after breaking his wrist in free practice one.

Honda confirmed Linfoot suffered a broken wrist in a crash during FP1 at the Brands Hatch Indy circuit and will be out of action for both this weekend and Oulton Park in two weeks time.

The North Yorkshire rider is set to undergo surgery on his wrist within the next week at Kings College hospital in London and the team hopes he'll recover in time for round four, scheduled for Snetterton between 19-21 June.
