McFadden to get belated BSB debut at Oulton Park

Having seen his original BSB deal fall through, David McFadden will get a BSB debut at Oulton Park with the Morello Kawasaki team.
FIM Superstock 1000 podium winner David McFadden will make his belated MCE British Superbike Championship debut at Oulton Park riding the Morello Racing Kawasaki.

Having started races in the World Superbike and Supersport Championships, the South African was due to make his BSB appearance at the start of the season when he originally penned a deal with MQ Kawasaki before it folded without turning a wheel.

Nonetheless, McFadden will get a renewed shot at BSB competition with the Morello team, where he will replace the injured Danny Johnson.

"I am really happy to have the opportunity to finally start my BSB campaign onboard the Morello Racing Kawasaki ZX10R. I'm looking forward to the races as Oulton Park looks a really awesome circuit and the superbike field is filled with big names.

"I am looking forward to mixing it with them and getting close to the sharp end. I want to say a huge thank you to Morello Racing for this opportunity."

I think he'll struggle to get to a top 10 this weekend, Oulton is such an odd circuit, it's a lot to learn in not a lot of time before race day. Good to see McFlash get a shot after the disappointment of the Quelch team.
