Ryuichi Kiyonari has ended free practice three on top in a session which saw the track dry out and lap times tumble.

The Buildbase BMW rider's 1m 37.106s put him P1 at the chequered flag but his time was still 1.8 seconds off the fastest lap of the weekend, set by Shane Byrne is the dry FP1.

The majority of the field didn't venture out of the garage until the final few minutes, opting not to take too many risks on a drying track which was still wet in places.

Anvil Hire TAG Racing's Richard Cooper was the first rider to venture out on track with slick tyres halfway through the 40-minute session and lap times progressively fell by over 10 seconds.

The fastest rider in the wet free practice two Josh Brookes put his Milwaukee Yamaha second, one-tenth off Kiyonari, with Cooper third.

James Westmoreland made some strong improvements in the session to finish fourth and Stuart Easton rounded out the top five.

Be Wiser Kawasaki's Danny Buchan also dipped into the 1m 37s lap to take sixth while Jack Kennedy, Jakub Smrz, Chris Walker and Taylor Mackenzie completed the top ten.
