Jed Metcher's long-awaited first start in the 2015 MCE British Superbike championship with PR Racing Kawasaki has been confirmed for round four at Snetterton next month, with the Australian making his official return to action at the two-day mid-season test.

Metcher will be joined by the majority of the British Superbike teams for the test but Tyco BMW's Tommy Bridewell and Michael Laverty will be absent as the team prepares for the Isle Of Man TT next week.

Metcher had initially been lined up to contest the full 2015 season but due to various delays the 2011 European Superstock 600 champion has sat out the first three rounds.
