The MCE British Superbike track action is still suspended today after heavy fog rolled into the Knockhill circuit area making racing unsafe due to poor visibility.

Severe overnight storms at Knockhill badly damaged the circuit surface, breaking large chunks off the top between the start/finish line and turn one, and required immediate and essential resurfacing work this morning.

The track work is now complete but due to the adverse weather conditions it has been deemed unsafe by Race Direction.

"The repair work has been completed however visibility is poor, particularly between the FL and T1," a race director statement read. "The circuit is being inspected every 10 minutes and as soon as [it is] declared acceptable the start will follow the basic schedule."

Free practice three is expected to run between 13.40-14.10 with BSB qualifying unaffected by the changes (16.05-16.59) to fit in with the TV schedule.
