Shane Byrne has held on to top spot on the timesheet in a delayed free practice three after track damage and poor weather suspended any morning action, while the mixed conditions saw a shake-up at the top with Be Wiser Kawasaki's Danny Buchan taking second ahead of JG Speedfit Kawasaki's James Ellison.

After just under four hours of delays due to track and weather problems FP3 finally got going at 1.40pm. The majority of riders initially took it steady not to wreck their bikes ahead of qualifying. The sessions also gave riders an opportunity to test the relayed surface after severe overnight storms broke up the top-side of the track between the start/finish line and turn one.
