Robbin Harms is set to join PR Racing Kawasaki for the final two rounds of the MCE British Superbike championship.

The Danish rider started the season in BSB with MotoDex BMW, grabbing 12th place in the season-opening race at Donington Park, before pulling out of the campaign after three rounds.

Harms, a former grand prix and World Supersport rider, will make his debut for the Liverpool-based team after its race seat was vacated by Jed Metcher who switched to Gearlink Kawasaki.

Harms has enjoyed a test with the team ahead of Silverstone this weekend and is aiming for solid results to pay back the opportunity handed to him by team owner John Jameson.

"I am really looking forward to get back on a bike in BSB and on some tracks I am familiar with," Harms said. "PR Kawasaki has given me this great chance to race at the last meetings which I hope I can pay back with some good results. We have quite a bit of work ahead of us to set up the bike but this is something I look forward to."

"We are pleased to have signed a rider such as Robbin," Jameson added. "It has been a difficult year, but we are focusing on the next two rounds where we are looking forward to be seeing out the championship on a positive note."
