Pirelli has extended its contract as sole tyre supplier for the MCE British Superbike championship until the end of the 2020 season.

The Italian tyre manufacturer secured a five-year deal with BSB orangisers MotorSport Vision with the aim of securing 'consistent and fairness' with a single tyre supplier. The new contract applies to the 2016-2020 BSB seasons and extends the existing relationship which began in 2008 when Pirelli became the first single tyre supplier for BSB.

The new agreement will see Pirelli supply tyres to the Superbike category as well as Supersport, Superstock 1000 and 600 classes, plus one marque race.
