Bennetts Suzuki has unveiled its striking new red, white and black livery for the 2016 MCE British Superbike championship.

The Halsall Racing-prepared Suzuki squad has retained the title sponsorship of Bennetts and has an all-new rider line-up for 2016 in the shape of three-time BSB champion Ryuichi Kiyonari and former BSB race winner Tommy Bridewell.

The team has pulled the wraps off its new-look Suzuki GSX-R1000 challenger at the London motorcycle show in front of a supportive crowd as the Japanese manufacturer looks to fight back in BSB after a difficult 2015 campaign in which it failed to grace the podium all season.

In Kiyonari and Bridewell Halsall Racing has secured one of the most formidable rider line-ups with Bridewell returning to Suzuki machinery for the first time since 2009 when he competed in the privateers' cup with Team NB. His Japanese team-mate is set to make his competitive debut with Suzuki after switching from Buildbase BMW during the winter.

You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. It isn't the paintwork that needs refreshing, it's the bike. Great bike that the Gixxer is, it's a long way behind the newer machines.
