JG Speedfit Kawasaki reveals tweaked livery

JG Speedfit Kawasaki has pulled the wraps off its reinvigorated racing livery ahead of the 2016 MCE British Superbike championship.

After securing full factory support from Kawasaki with the launch of the new ZX-10R the GBmoto Racing-prepared squad retains JG Speedfit title sponsorship while switching to Showa suspension and Brembo brakes for 2016, bringing the BSB team in line with the World Superbike Kawasaki Racing Team.

JG Speedfit Kawasaki expands its rider line-up for the new season with former World Superbike race winner Leon Haslam and fastest newcomer at the Isle of Man TT Peter Hickman joining James Ellison to complete the three bike formation.

GBmoto Racing team principal Mark Smith-Halvorsen says he's thrilled with the livery tweak while also extending the squad's partnership with its sponsors for 2016.

“The 2016 JG Speedfit Kawasaki livery truly reflects our status as the official Kawasaki team in the UK,” Smith-Halvorsen said. “We're really pleased to have JG Speedfit back with us as title sponsors for a second year and have worked hard to ensure their brand is instantly recognisable both on and off track, whilst Kawasaki fans will no doubt be pleased to see more green and black than we've run previously.

“We have extended our partnerships with a host of existing sponsors and some new brands too, so we will be looking to promote them well, by making sure we are placing our bikes and riders in front of the TV cameras. The whole look and feel of the team has been revamped for our new campaign and I hope that it attracts people to pay our sponsors back, for their faith and support – without them, we would not be here competing.”
