Jack Kennedy has taken pole position for the latest round of the Fuchs Silkolene British Supersport Championship following a frantic end to the qualifying session.
Hitting the top of the timesheets with only a handful of minutes remaining, Kennedy was the only rider to dip below the 55secs marks on his Rob Mac Racing Yamaha.
He will be joined on the front row by James Westmoreland on the Centurion Honda, as well as AIM Yamaha's David Paton and Relentless Suzuki's Ian Lowry.
With just one second covering the top 20 riders, small errors made big differences for many of the competitors, particularly title contenders Steve Borgan, Glen Richards and Hudson Kennaugh, all of which start fifth, sixth and ninth respectively.
In the Cup class, Andy Weymouth took pole position with a time that would also place him 17th overall on the grid.
