Tom Sykes maintained his stellar Cadwell Park form ahead of this afternoon's Bennetts British Superbike Championship races after topping morning warm-up.
Although not nearly as quick as the laps in qualifying, pole sitter Sykes was still a clear half a second up on second placed Leon Camier, the Airwaves Ducati rider seemingly finding the handful of tenths he was chasing following qualifying.
Shane Byrne made it a good start to the day for Airwaves Ducati in third place, while Cal Crutchlow resumed his place in the top four just three hundredths adrift of the championship leader.
Michael Rutter and Karl Harris put in a strong show in fifth and sixth, with both riders emerging ahead of Leon Haslam, while Atsushi Watanabe ensured his qualifying effort was no fluke by emerging eighth best.
Michael Laverty and Billy McConnell rounded out the top ten, while Gary Mason was once again the Daily Star Cup front runner in 11th overall.
Meanwhile, Guy Martin will switch to James Ellison's Hydrex Bike Animal Honda this weekend in the absence of his podium winning team-mate.
