Shane Byrne is eager to seal the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at the second time of asking as he prepares for the penultimate round of the season at Silverstone.

Having failed to quite seal victory at Croft, Byrne is in an even better position at Silverstone, with his 94 point advantage meaning he needs to just finish inside the top ten for the first race to make the title his.

Indeed, Byrne admits he was disappointed not to make victory a foregone conclusion at Croft, but while he can certainly afford to relax, he is still determined to go all out for the race win.
