Action packed programme for Silverstone.

The racing won't be the only action to watch when the Bennetts British Superbike Championship arrives at Silverstone this weekend as organisers prepare an action-packed programme for fans.

With Silverstone celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, British Superbikes is getting involved with a number of displays and parades aimed at keeping fans entertained.

Although the main draw will be Shane Byrne's attempts to secure the title this weekend, a parade of legendary motorcycles is also planned. With legendary riders, including Stan Woods, Stuart Graham and Niall MacKenzie all jumping aboard some iconic machines, it will be a trip down memory lane for many enthusiasts

In addition, the Bolddog Lings display team, complete with the UK's top ranked freestyle motocross riders, will be putting on a show of various daring stunts and tricks.

Meanwhile, fans who buy a ticket (or win one of the five pairs currently on offer from, can get access to any of the grandstands around the circuit, while those at Luffield, Abbey and Copse will get to enjoy the racing on the big screen.
