Karl Harris maintained his place at the top of the timesheets in final free practice ahead of British Superbike qualifying at Brands Hatch.
Harris, who was fastest in free practice yesterday too, edged the competition in a frantic few minutes towards the end of the session to go fastest by a comfortable three tenths of a second.
The session itself didn't come alive until the last 15 minutes as riders completed nothing more than exploratory laps whilst the damp circuit dried completely.
Hydrex Bike Animal's James Ellison had been fastest for much of the session but would drop to third, behind Harris and Suzuki's Tom Sykes, towards the end.
HM Plant Honda pair Leon Haslam and Cal Crutchlow completed the top five, ahead of Michael Rutter and Leon Camier. Camier's Airwaves Ducati team-mate, Shane Byrne, chose not venture onto circuit and set a time.
Simon Andrews, the quickest of the Cup riders, John Laverty, and Atsushi Watanabe completed the top ten positions.
