Eurosport will continue to broadcast the British Superbike Championship for a further two seasons after renewing its TV rights deal with MotorSport Vision.

The digital sports channel blazed a trail this season by showing 160 hours of UK programming, 50 of which were live, making BSB the most extensively covered British motorsport series.

The deal will see BSB comprise of a four-hour live show at each of the 12 rounds, featuring both Superbike races, British Supersport Championship and additional support races. In addition, race day highlights will be repeated, while British Superbikes Extra will feature action from the British 125GP, National Superstock and KTM RC8 Championships.

The programmes will continue to be shown on Eurosport 2, which has a reach of 32 million homes in the UK, while Eurosport Asia-Pacific will take live action to a further nine countries.

"This season has proved what an excellent series BSB is, with great racing and spectacle for fans to enjoy," said Dave Kerr, British Eurosport director. "We are delighted therefore to extend our relationship with MSV and retain the British Superbike Championship on Eurosport for a further two seasons. It is great news for us and for fans and we are confident the quality of racing and our coverage will go from strength to strength."
