VIDEO: Guintoli talks about BSB switch.

Despite all the pressures of adapting from MotoGP to superbikes, and the vastly different machinery that entails, Sylvain Guintoli took time out from his first BSB test session to conduct an interview caught on camera for Crash.net readers.

The Frenchman enjoyed his first taste of the Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000 at Brands Hatch this week, completing a total of 88 laps around the venue's short Indy configuration on the bike that took Tom Sykes to three wins and fourth in the overall standings this year.

It was during the day that Guintoli spoke to Chris Moss about the reasons for his switch of codes, and the opportunity that joining Crescent Suzuki offers him and his racing career.

Good luck to Sylvain, just a shame he didn''t get a decent WSB ride. I think he''s more than capable of competing in that class. Plus his accent always makes me laugh... French with those unmistakeable English-isms... Go Sylvain!

Agree, its real shame he didn't get a decent WSBK ride as he is a proven world class rider. But on the other hand its fantastic to have a guy like Guintoli in our domestic championship.
