Kawasaki to continue in BSB.

Kawasaki will continue to have a presence on the British Superbike grid in 2009 after the MSS Colchester and Buildbase teams reconfirmed their entries.

Following the announcement of Kawasaki's withdrawal from MotoGP, there had been fears that their exit would have ramifications further down the motorcycle ladder.

Nonetheless, the decision appears to be isolated to just the premier series, with the team's programmes in the World Superbike Championship and national series' so far unaffected.

As such, MSS Colchester and Buildbase insist they will continue to enter a pair of bikes each in 2009.

Both teams, which have been re-branded for the new season, will field new riders in 2009, with Simon Andrews and Julian Da Costa joining MSS Colchester, while John Laverty and Tristan Palmer make up the Buildbase line-up.
