Camier wins Oulton race two.

Leon Camier has taken an eleven point lead in the ViSK.com British Superbike Championship after a dominant double victory during round two, at Oulton Park.

Winner in race one by just over a second from Karl Harris, the Airwaves Yamaha rider beat 'Bomber' by a distant 7.326sec in race two - having worked his way past Glen Richards, Simon Andrews and then race leader Harris within three laps.

Harris kept his Hydrex Honda within touch of Camier for the first half of the race, but the R1 rider rode into the distance during the last nine laps.

In turn, Harris kept the battling trio of Sylvain Guintoli, James Ellison and Richards safely behind him - Guintoli having fought forwards from the lower end of the top ten to pass Ellison, at his second attempt, on the penultimate lap.

Third in both races, the Worx Suzuki rider is now second in the championship to Camier.

Ellison was visibly frustrated at missing out on the podium, while 6-5 race finishes for Richards mean the HM Plant Honda rider is now 26 points from Camier for third in the championship. Harris is two points further back in fourth.

Richards' team-mate Josh Brookes, making his belated 2009 BSB debut, had worked his way forwards with Guintoli, but retired from sixth with technical problems on lap 15.

Andrews, who crashed out of race one, played a starring role in the early part of race two, the MSS Colchester Kawasaki rider successfully fighting off Richards and Ellison to hold third until lap nine.

Carrying injuries even before his race one fall, Andrews eventually faded back to eighth position, with Ian Lowry (Relentless Suzuki) and top Cup rider Gary Mason (Quay Honda) separating himself and Richards at the finish.

Stuart Easton had led the field into turn one, but raised his hand to signal a terminal electrical problem while holding second behind team-mate Harris on lap two.
