Laverty cruises to Knockhill victory

James Westmoreland matched his best-ever BSB finish with a run to fifth on the WFR Honda, the birthday boy benefitting from Noriyuki Haga crashing out of the position on lap 18 to just keep sixth place Tommy Bridewell at bay.

Alastair Seeley passed Alex Lowes late on to finish seventh, with Graeme Gowland and Lowry rounding out the top ten, the latter seemingly struggling with set-up problems on the Padgetts Honda having run strongly early on.

Barry Burrell followed up in 11th, ahead of Tristan Palmer and Peter Hickman, who put in an excellent run to 13th place having coming into the race with only limited experience on the Buildbase BMW race. An off-form Jon Kirkham and Luke Quigley completed the top 15 finishers.
