Once again lets go back in history to 2010. Race 2 at the May meeting at Cadwell, Brookes passed Laverty with a similar move into Halls Bend and the commentators raved about the brave move and the forums were full of praise. At the September meeting he passed Kiyo at Halls Bend in race 2 and was similarly praised for a brave passing move by commentators and forum posters. In 2011 it is suddenly a stupid and dangerous move? I have seen countless crashes in BSB caused by riders smashing into others yet never a call for their ban or accusations of dangerous riding. In this instance Rutter turned into Brookes who clearly had the right to try a pass he had safely done before with other riders. No matter how you view it, it was a racing incident and that is what we want, racing.
