Tommy has matured as a rider since his early WSBK days. He would definitely give any rider in WSBK a run but needs a competitive package to realize that dream. Not to say that he may not turn out to be a Shakey..pretty much more suited for the domestic series but we need to know that by giving him a run on a competitive package. Hell..if Hopper does well this year then I would argue that Tommy could too.
Tommy could not find or get a proper ride on the world stage and so he decided to defend his title. That's not a bad thing! If he wins again this year he will be a hot commodity in 2013. Good luck TH..for sure I will be watching.
